22 April 08 KATL screenshots

25 March 08 Atlanta coming along nicely thanks

Just a quick note to all of you wondering about our upcoming KATL project. It's developing at quite a pace now and we hope to get some screenshots uploaded just as soon as there is something interesting to look at (just mostly gray boxes at the moment). Release looks hopeful for April.

19 February 08 All FSX airports SP2 compatible

Customers using FSX with the SP2 upgrade can now download patches for all of our FSX airports. Just follow the 'product update' link on each main airport page to download the free patches.

06 February 08 Further KATL delay

This will cause a lot of unhappiness we know but we have to come clean and report another delay to our Atlanta release. Remedial work for the FSX SP2 patches to our existing airports is currently using all of our development resources, and we are having

to rework virtually every item at each airport. To be honest SP2 has hit hard and we are running to

catch up. A KATL release in March is now very doubtful and we are anticipating a further delay of four to six weeks. Our apologies to everyone waiting.

apologize and ask that you please resend your email to us at sales@imaginesim.com

15 November 07 KATL reality check!

For those of you eagerly anticipating the arrival of

our next airport release, KATL, we bring news of a slip in the delivery date. This is because ATL is BIG. And it's complex. The biggest and most complex airport we've attempted to date so we are putting back our estimation of release by a month to February/March. We know this is disappointing news to all of you waiting but honesty definitely is

the best policy.

09 November 07 KCVG Cincinnati FSX update

Following on from the release of the FSX version of TJSJ San Juan we have updated our KCVG FSX version. See the product update section on the main KCVG page for details.

08 November 07 AES compatibility

Aerosoft have just released another update for their excellent AES (Airport Enhancement Services) software. Included in this update is provision for our TJSJ San Juan and KMCI Kansas City airports, adding to the KCVG, KLGA, KCLT and KEWR airports that are already compatible.

06 November 07 TJSJ San Juan for FSX

guarantee any firm dates just yet.

17 October 07 KATL, by a landslide!

Thanks to all of you who made the effort to vote in our megahub face-off. We were amazed by the response in which you decided by an overwhelming majority that you wanted us to put together a KATL Atlanta product. The results so far are KATL 997 votes against VHHH 129. We have already made a start on the project and will hope to get it to you in January 2008.

11 October 07 San Juan 99.99% done!

Our next airport for MSFS, TJSJ San Juan, has almost finished testing and is just about ready to

be packaged for release. Next Saturday is looking good to go. On another note... would anyone be interested if we held another airport competition? This time it's last month's contender, VHHH Hong Kong up against KATL Atlanta. Let us know which you'd prefer by emailing - sowhatsnext@imaginesim.com.

14 September 07 And the winner is....

The votes are in. See the result on our 'future projects' page.

10 September 07 The next airport is....

We can't decide. There you have it. Haven't a clue. So we thought why not let someone else do all the hard work and pick one for us? Brilliant!

We've narrowed it down to 2 airports and you, by

the wonder that is electronic mail, can cast a vote. Yes you can. Amazing isn't it?

Details on the 'future projects' page.

now includes compatibility for four imaginesim airports (KLGA, KCVG, KCLT and KEWR). The remainder of our airports will be included within

the AES updates over the coming months.

19 June 07 KMCI Kansas City Intl.

Our next airport expansion pack for MS Flight Simulator will be KMCI Kansas City International. The airport handles 11 million passengers each year, covers more  than 10,000 acres and its three runways can accommodate up to 139 operations per hour. MCI is an important destination for all the major US airlines. If you think you can help us with the production then please click the 'future projects' link above for further details. Release is scheduled for August.

18 June 07 Price increases

Unfortunately, because of the current weak dollar

we are raising the price of our products sold via the Flight 1 wrapper system. For the past six months

we have been waiting for the dollar to claw back some value against the UKŁ (imaginesim's local currency) but the dollar has been weak for so long now with no sign of recovery we can't absorb the difference any more.

This isn't an exercise to extract more cash out of

our customers to pay for our extravagant lifestyles here at imaginesim! Like all businesses we need

to make a certain amount of profit on each sale to keep the company going, and the plain fact is that sales via the Flight 1 system have been

unprofitable all through 2007. These price

increases will bring sales via the Flight 1 wrapper

in line with the price of our products sold via the SimMarket website.

03 May 07 KDTW alternative texture set

Some of you have asked can the Detroit taxiways textures be modified to be less pink?.... Well yes! Have a look on the KDTW airport update section, you'll find there a download that adjusts the textures to look a more 'sandy' color.

28 April 07 KLGA New York La Guardia

Ready for download and purchase!

Our new and latest airport, New York La Guardia, is available right now for download. This has been without a doubt our most eagerly anticipated

release to date, and no wonder. LGA has

fascinated real world pilots since the aviation pioneering days. Now simmers can enjoy the breathtaking approaches, arrivals and departures

at our ultra realistic La Guardia recreation.

New York, here we come....!

Follow the 'airports' link above and choose the La Guardia option to get access to this exciting airport. There's a demo version available too.

25 April 07 KLGA ready this weekend!

For those of you champing at the bit for the release of our NY La Guardia airport we bring good news. It's 99.9% sure that it's going to be ready for this coming weekend. It has sailed through testing and is currently being packaged. KLGA will initially be a FS2004 only product while we all wait for the FSX 'situation' to be rectified. With luck the forthcoming FSX Service Pack 1 will address all the issues that large airport simmers are experiencing. Looks like we're all heading for NYC this weekend....!

07 April 07 A few new shots of KLGA

Good news for La Guardia fans. We have

completed the major structures at the airport and are now adding the smaller items (jetways,

vehicles, people, etc). If all goes well the airport

will be ready for release in 2-3 weeks. Keep checking back for official release news and more development shots.

06 February 07 Next airport is....

Want to know what our next airport for MSFS is? Click the 'future projects' link above.

30 January 07 FSX versions

Our anti-spam software has been a little over zealous these past few days and a few requests for free versions of our KCVG for FSX for existing KCVG FS2004 customers have been gobbled. If you have requested your FSX version and haven't heard back from us then please email again. We're very sorry

for any inconvenience.

27 January 07 KCVG Cincinnati for FSX

Our first FSX title now available

After months of trial and tribulation we have completed our first title for Microsoft's latest incarnation of Flight Simulator - FSX. You can get your hands on a demo copy or the full install by clicking the 'airports' link above and choosing the KCVG option. KCVG customers who already own

the FS2004 version get the FSX version free! See

the KCVG page for details.

18 January 07 A Cincinnati Phenomenon!

Some KCVG customers who had previously been using freeware Cincinnati add-ons are

experiencing AI aircraft floating a few feet above the ground. This is due to changes made to the default MSFS ground elevation in the area by the freeware add-on. To fix this problem please contact us via support@imaginesim.com and we will send you

the original MSFS file. All of those floaty planes

will come back down to earth!

13 January 07 KCVG Cincinnati Int.

KCVG is the culmination of over 1400 hours of painstaking work in an attempt to bring you a hyper realistic version of this major US hub.

This new airport is an FS2004 only product at this time but an FSX version is just around the corner (free to FS2004 customers). The full install is available from our 'airports' section for the

been very positive. Cincinnati will be an FS2004 release at this stage but we will work right up until release day to try and get an FSX version completed. If this isn't possible then the FSX version will be free to KCVG FS2004 customers as soon as it's ready.

Have a look at the new screenshots - click on the 'future projects' link above.

12 December 06 Cincinnati progressing

The team are working like Trojans to get this FS9/FSX product to you before the month is out. Currently we are looking at a release just after the last leftover turkey sandwich and mince pie has gone. Have a look at a few new screenshots taken from the FSX version at our 'future projects' page.

20 November 06 KCVG preview

We have uploaded a first view of our up and coming KCVG Cincinnati airport product. Click the 'future projects' link above to take a look.

30 October 06 FSX upgrades

It seems there is a very credible rumour that MS will be issuing a patch for the new version of Flight Simulator (FSX) that might address some compatibility issues between it and FS2004. This is just as well because most major airport add-on developers are finding it very difficult to update current products to FSX. We will post news of any patch and upgrade information here just as soon

as we get it. Until then we are continuing with our KCVG Cincinnati development primarily for FS2004 while keeping an eye on FSX compatibility too.

18 October 06 imaginesim and FSX

First look at Microsoft's FSX is impressive. There certainly is a lot of potential for add-on developers over the next few years. It looks as though updating our current products is going to be a challenge, but we are making progress and are currently co-operating with other developers to find solutions as quickly as possible.

The main bugbear is performance. FSX seems to be extremely resource hungry when higher detail levels are selected and it's going to be interesting exploring ways to cope with this. Check back with

us over the coming weeks for airport upgrade news and release information.

09 October 06 MYNN Nassau update

A few customers have emailed informing us of a shadow and elevation issue at RWY32. If you have experienced this with your MYNN installation then please download the small fix that can be found by navigating to the main MYNN product page and clicking the 'product updates' link.

26 September 06 It's KCVG Cincinnati!

Our next product for MS Flight Simulator will be KCVG Cincinnati Northern Kentucky Airport. CVG is

a major Delta Air Lines hub and last year handled 23 million passengers. Check the 'future projects' link above for further information and keep an eye out for screenshots of the airport appearing over

the coming weeks.

30 August 06 Office relocation

Just to let you know that imaginesim are relocating offices over the next few days. We would like to apologize in advance to any of our customers who might experience delays with communications or sales related enquiries. Product purchases via Flight 1 wrappers or SimMarket are unaffected. We should be back up to full steam by the middle of

next week.

26 August 06 MYNN Nassau International Airport

keep checking the 'future projects' page.

20 March 06 More EWR preview shots

Just uploaded are a few more preview screenshots of KEWR Newark on our 'future projects' page. Testing is going well and it's still looking good for a release before March is out. Watch this space!

16 March 06 Newark exclusively for FS2004

In order to take advantage of new program design rules and technique, we have taken the decision to make our forthcoming KEWR Newark release

available for FS2004 installation only. We appreciate that there is still a small and dedicated FS2002 following but we can't make the performance advances needed for ever increasingly detailed products, and still make it backward compatible.

We offer our apologies to FS2002 users for this decision.

08 March 06 KEWR into final testing

We are please to announce that Newark has just gone into it's final test phase. This process usually

takes a couple of weeks so we are hoping for a

release of this much anticipated airport before March is out. There is a great new preview shot of

the Continental terminal over on the 'future projects'

page to tantalize you even further!

29 January 06 First KEWR Newark screenshots

the first few pics of our latest product, KEWR. More previews will be following over the next few weeks so make sure to check back every now and then.

06 January 06 KEWR Newark progress

I am sure you will be happy to note that work on our

latest product, KEWR Newark, is progressing at a

pace. In a couple of weeks we will upload the first trance of screenshots. Release is pencilled in

exciting new Newark Liberty 2006 version.

video by Grover. Another in the line of visual treats

we have come to expect from the master of FS promos.

07 October 05 Slow KEWR progress

Apologies to those of you eagerly waiting for news

of our KEWR product. A delay (groan!) has been

caused by our UK team's office move, computer

and equipment upgrade. We reckon that it has

pushed things back 4 to 6 weeks. We will keep

you posted and hope to upload the first screenshots

in a week or two.

17 June 05 St Louis announcement

As a result of co-operation between us and the guys at OSS we have made the difficult decision to shelve plans for a KSTL St Louis product. Jeff at OSS quickly informed us that they had an advanced STL project underway and would probably be releasing the same time as us. We would like to apologize to our customers who were looking forward to this release, but I am sure you would agree that given OSS's excellent track record their version of KSTL will be stunning.

We will announce details our next  project very soon.

13 June 05 KDEN Denver update

Available now from the KDEN airport page is the latest update for the airport. This package specifically addresses the problem some customers faced when using third-party aircraft with the airport's jetways. 09 June 05 KSTL St Louis announced

At last! A full specification MSFS commercial product release for St Louis Lambert. Production has started and we have pencilled in a date in August for the completion of our fourth airport scenery. Check the future projects page over the coming weeks for screenshot previews during development.

05 Mar 05 KDTW Detroit into testing phase

Our forthcoming product, KDTW Detroit, has now had its design 'frozen' and gone into a final testing phase with our experienced team of beta testers. Should testing go well we anticipate the official launch of the new airport in mid-March. Watch this space!

12 Feb 05 Possible delay to KDTW Detroit

Just a warning to those of you eagerly anticipating our forthcoming KDTW Detroit release, there may be a delay of the release date. Two main reasons, mostly because we still have so much to get in place because the DTW land area is enormous and there are so many smaller ancillary buildings to model. Secondly, the annual bouts of heavy colds have left two of our lead designers in their sick beds for the next few days (just when we need them!)

There won't be a huge delay, it's just that we might miss our end of February deadline and go a little into March. We will, of course, keep you posted of the situation in this section and we offer you our apologies for making the suspense even greater.

03 Feb 05 KDTW Detroit nearly there!

We are going hell-for-leather to get KDTW Detroit ready for a release in the last week of February. Most of the product's main structures are in place and we are commencing work on all of the detail that makes up a great looking airport. Expect to see a rush of screenshots over the next few weeks at our 'future projects' section.

29 Jan 05 Website offline

May we take this opportunity to apologize to our customers for the period in which our website was offline. We know just how frustrating this must have been and we are truly sorry. The technical issues that caused this have been rectified and we will make all efforts to ensure that something like it never happens again.
